CRAMPS - Big Beat From Badsville LP (colour vinyl) deathrock "When Bert Jansch's self-titled debutLimited edition metallic red colour vinyl. Depending on your point of view, The Cramps either shot their creative load at their inception 30 some years ago or hold on to their skewed vision with remarkable consistency. This album bangs out a good argument for either contention. Each track throbs with voodoo drumbeat and fuzzed up bass, Lux makes jungle noises and Ivy does her patented two string minor key solos as inexpertly as she could ever wish to.
