Advice from a U
The stripping guide is a perfection and the ferrule wraps have only the slightest beginning of the usual casting cracks
I've photographed this for all to see here
Yellow and burgundy tipping at the winding check
The script has a bit of a blurry appearance to it cause by bleeding when the varnish was applied
Hardy St George Fly Reel 3 3/4" 1-Piece Advice from a UA Hardy St. George salmon reel, 3 3 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Ribbed brass foot with an agate line guard (it appears to have one crack in it). Two screw model. Good used condition with some standard cosmetic wear to the frame edge and some minor bubbling to the enamel in a couple of spots, but no major structural issues that I could find. No spool wobble and the click is nice and smooth. No bag. A good model for steelhead or light salmon fishing.
