Hoagy Carmichael Graphite Spey Rod 16' 3/1 #10 5' Made in the 1920'sHere we have a 160 double handed graphite Spey rod made by Hoagy Carmichael from a Sage blank. He fished it on the Gaula in Norway, and the Grand Cascapedia in Canada. He made all of the locking reel seat hardware, with a walnut spacer, which has the threaded Delrin insert in the locking nut for a smooth and solid grip on the reel tang. It has a nice agate striping guide on the butt section as well. Hoagy reports that this rod will unload a #10 DTF
