There is a wild quince bush that grows in the creek bed on the back roads between our house and my parents house, and every year for the past 10 years that we have travelled this track, we have missed picking them in lieu of some other lucky foraging local. But this year, our timing blessed us with a haul; we did of course just take a few leaving the rest for
