Covered Jar in Patina Green, 10"h (Ben Owen III) Celadon Blue Glaze Series as a glossy forest greenA great result from the recent wood firing on this Covered Jar. The Patina Green finish can resemble moss growing along the surface of a tree trunk or a weathered copper roof, this form works well for displaying the artistic Patina Green finish. This glaze is a blend of a copper glaze and the natural ash accumulation from the wood firing process. Micro crystals have formed on the surface of the piece during the slow cooling of the kiln.
