SWAMP DONKEY - s/t LP d-beat and The ExIncludes d l code. Highly recommended. Swamp Donkey outta Brisbane feature members of Wasabi Barbie, the Beached Kennedys, Sit Ubu Sit and Post Truths. Their sound sits somewhere between swamp grunge, indie and shoegaze. Think Dinosaur Jr with a splattering of Sonic Youth, squeezed through a Scientists rag. Fuzz drenched noise with occasional lyrics and a 2 guitar texturing that aims to be Television but comes off sounding beta max.
