A (HB), and with the owner's initials H. S. S. Retailed by J Daniels, Woolwich. The 142nd (Durham) Heavy Battery was pivotal in many WW1 engagements, such as Somme, Vimy Ridge, Ypres, Spring Offensive and the Hundred Days Offensive.
