LOU REED - Berlin LP jazz As a heavy psych outfit

As a heavy psych outfit

despite being the most accessible one

Blank Generation is one of those LPs whose influence in the world of popular culture cannot be overstated

but using sounds and patterns a human couldn’t or wouldn’t play) and piles of memorable synth and guitar riffs

which saw them experimenting with both repetitive grooves and ambient soundscapes

LOU REED - Berlin LP jazz As a heavy psych outfitHighly recommended. Berlin is Lou Reed's third solo album after he left the Velvet Underground. It was right after the very successful Transformer which was a cool glam rock album. Fans and critics expected this style again but instead Lou served up a depressing rock opera. Reed teamed up with producer Bob Ezrin who produced many rock operas like Pink Floyd's the Wall and Alice Cooper's Billion Dollar Babies. The story is extremely depressing and sad
