Description

funk and soul

why would you want to

A quarter of a century later

and fuzzed out riffs of Mudhoney but all with an acid-fried Detroit vibe

was in melodic power-pop mode

VELATINE - Whisper Park / One And Only 7" (colour vinyl) doom funk and soulLimited edition of 150 copies on blue vinyl and black streaks. Second wonderful single from the duo of Loki Lockwood (Spooky label and swell local sound guy) and Maggie Alley on vocals. First rate cold wave synthy and cinematic sounds, and getting a LOT of raves in overseas publications (as they should here!).
