bands are really bleeding on record like this any more
singer/guitarist Francisca Griffin – formerly of Flying Nun's Look Blue Go Purple then Cyclops – here delivers her poetic alt
sunny album that feels perfect for summertime cruising (and still makes Ben Bridwell sound like a hybrid of a couple different indie singers)
lotta ferocity in the vocals and the guitar is so deliciously loud and rhythmic
SUNWATCHERS - Illegal Moves LP avant-garde RepetitionGatefold sleeve. Highly recommended. A nice blast of psychedelic drones, jams, and very textured freakouts featuring heavy use of blaring screechy saxophone, multiple drummers (I think) and very good mixing to really make the emphasis and dynamics of the layers of instrumentation shine.
