400 negatives have been lent to the Analog Africa team
cleverly builds up to a climax that never happens
smothered ambience and gentle guitar-picking all flow together into waves of sound to lap at the shores of your senses
but nothing else sounds quite as friendless and focused as these very first recordings
with the delirious rock 'n' roll of "Pink 'n' Lovely" - that cuts like a razor
LONG HOURS - Wayward Serenades LP garage 400 negatives have been lentHighly recommended. "The cover features a topless Julian Medor on his back on what looks like a garage floor covered in oil, eating his necklace, mic in hand and eyes shut. Shades of Darby Crash, and Iggy Pop. Which are pretty good introductory comparisons, though Long Hours don't sound much like Iggy (well, alright, maybe A Ghost To You), but perhaps a bit like The Germs. But that's where comparisons pretty much end. "Long Hours is a solo performance
