CARPAL TUNNEL BAND - s/t LP thrash " The musicians on this

" The musicians on this phenomenal album seem to have been cherry-picked from a rock and roll fan's dreams: Nicky Hopkins (legendary for his piano work with The Rolling Stones) plays some of the most fiery work of his career

Prior to this reissue

She’s got to be one of the best aggressive vocalists of recent note and the deranged delivery is a taste of pure punk honey that you won’t forget

The band provides us with a lot of sweetly served melancholy

Many thought STP to be just capitalising on the grunge emergence and wrote off this album as fluff

CARPAL TUNNEL BAND - s/t LP thrash " The musicians on thisLimited edition of 100 copies. Highly recommended. Been listening to this Melbourne band's debut release most of today and thoroughly enjoying its post punk ferocity. Sinewy bass lines merge with angular guitar and an almost noise rock aesthetic that at times reminds me of Beige Banquet, Clamm or Super X. The vocals are cool, I just can't quite put my finger on WHO they remind me of, particularly on "Sick Air"
