Robbie’s text
and his love for dream pop’s luminaries
this is a 20-minute LP with 12 direct punk rock shots to make your ears bleed
for this they look at George Martin to take the helm
which is no mistake as this record was literally recorded underground
JACK KETCH AND THE CROWMEN - Brimfull Of Hate LP americana Robbie’s textJack Ketch and the Crowmen (featuring Billy Childish) were (to our knowledge) a one off group, with Billy, Bruce and Bertie out of the Milkshakes. Brutal basement executioner styles abound here, dark songs from a dark place. Incredible and mysterious, not surprising for a group named after Britain's most infamously inept hangman. For the believers.
