Mayday Signals is a nice chunk of unexpected
they are being released into a world that is finally ready to receive them
In the summer of 1981
When someone would say that they wanted to do it over again
The songs have a narrative-like quality
DONNAS - American Teenage Rock 'n' Roll Machine LP (colour vinyl) r&b Mayday Signals is a niceLimited edition fire orange with black swirl colour vinyl. Remastered by Mike Milchner, and features band commentary along with the original "pin up" calendar. Barely clocking in at 25 minutes, this is mercifully brief and sharp, the way punk rock should be. It's sassy and cool. The first song is brilliant and catchy. The vocals are deadpan sexy. A hoot.
