It's some pretty good noise rock

With a cover like that it looks like either some portentous grunge mopefest or some kind of black metal album

not to mention the Raymond Pettibon artwork

It's this enduring dialectic that gives Wire their unique status as a long-established band that continues to forge ahead with original music: always unmistakably Wire but always reimagined and reframed with each successive project

Some grit is added to the Missy Elliot-esque rap "Scream" (with magnified synthetic noise currents)

AC/DC - Back In Black LP post-punk It's some pretty good noiseThis is an indispensable hard rock album. The album is chocka with fan favourites such as hells Bells with its ominous tolling bell opening. Shoot To Thrill is a musical adrenaline rush. The title track and you shook me are another two stone cold classics like only these Aussies can do. They lay down the solid mid paced rythmn and Angus does his thang over the top and the newly joined Brian Johnson puts in the performance of a lifetime.
