First Taste is an introspective set after the extroversions of Freedom’s Goblin—yet just as steeped in party beats somehow
representing death metal which is not quite progressive but certainly more experimental than most
and The Angelic Choir
but the band took a backseat to her other projects Miserable and Whirr
A Magnum Opus of pure oceanic sound and Roach’s most sophisticated atmospheric work to date
OUTER MINDS - s/t LP indie First Taste is an introspectiveIncludes d l code. Highly recommended. Outer Minds became a staple live act in hometown Chicago and, after releasing a handful of singles and a cassette, they showed up with two full length albums in 2012, each with its own distinct sound. Their self titled album (on Southpaw) painted them as Nuggets apostles; songs like "Gimmie a Reason" had them slinging bubblegum psych melodies behind vintage reverb.
