VIET CONG - s/t LP goth “turbocharged with the attack ofViet Cong, the debut album of the band now going by Preoccupations, is best described as an absolutely perfect pastiche of early 1980s post punk. Everything from the cold, textured guitars, to the muddy, echoey production, and even the black and white block text album cover. They knew what they wanted to do here, and they do it very very well.
