このイヤリングに使われているのはいわゆる「ジェット」ではなく、光沢のあるブラックガラスのラインストーンと、樹脂。大きめのパーツを樹脂にすることで、重さを感じずつけられます。

おそらく1930年代頃のフランスで、手編みによってつくられた一点。細かく撚られたレーヨン混の二色糸（赤×青）が、レースという軽やかな構造に深みと陰影を与えています。
