Description

Musically the band experimented with new sounds and tempo changes and pulled from a vast array of influences and tried to capture the raw elements of their live performances

these town criers and tavern-bound troubadours sing of golden highways

And album closer 'V2' brings to mind both Thomas Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow and David Bowie

Homosexuals…

steeped in the hushed atmosphere of the best Vuh records (if not exactly the sound)
