PHOENICIAN DRIVE - s/t LP spoken word full story of Stockolm neo-garageRecorded in the Studio Koko by the insatiable John Roo (La Jungle, It It Anita), this record indulges in the psychedelic pleasures (Amon Dl II, Os Mutantes) and the joy of motorik rhythms (Can, NEU!, Faust, Cluster). Soaked in darbuka, edged with oud and distortion effusions, the compositions are here travelling in first class, far from formatted highways and traffic jams. At full speed, Phoenician Drive runs on krautrock with a loaded trunk.
