Rod may have been restored at some time, can't be certain. The rod sections were recently straightened by Mike Clark, but a slight kink still exists below the female ferrule on the butt section of the rod. Nothing to be alarmed about but I felt I should qualify this fact that the rod is still not entirely straight. Priced accordingly. This is a very beautiful rod
