DAVE ARVEDON - The Best Of Dave Arvedon Volume 3 heavy And if this doesn’t get

And if this doesn’t get you then surely the next track will: arguably the definitive version of Ewan MacColl’s “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”

Oh thank God a new the Clientele album and by the time it comes out it will be near autumn so you can listen to this while wandering down leafy lanes at dusk - the perfect setting for Alistair MacLean's melancholic form of 60's influence psych and jangle

with Wallers juggling a cast of personae as far-flung as P

manipulated guitar

This is a giraffe ride from the empty swiming pool stand-up singing

DAVE ARVEDON - The Best Of Dave Arvedon Volume 3 heavy And if this doesn’t getNicely priced. One copy only. Arvedon is a quirky, kooky singer songwriter who clearly savors bubblegum pop, acid fried garage and proto punk grooves, giving it all a Zappa esque nose tweak and using phrases like that would be peachy fine in a song about getting turned down for a date. Its pretty entertaining for the most part, so long as youre not too uptight about corny goofball rock I cant help but picture the Muppet band playing these songs.
