LP live Don’t Jump' in all itsThe Pheromoans expanded to a six piece and headed in more of an experimental pop direction than their previous spindly post punky outings with the sound now layered in languorous vintage synth tones which lend them a new romantic feel, although the songwriting has that whimsical slacker pop feel of bands like The Intelligence (particularly Fake Surfers era), only with a very English sense of sardonic self sabotage and pastoral quirkiness.
