EYELIDS - 854 LP singer-songwriter jangly in othersEyelids is a band built around two fellows who have been involved in songwriting for some real greats (Elliott Smith! Steve Malkmus! Damien Jurado!). But this is them indulging their own personal loves: the lovely slackerish indie rock sound of Flying Nun and the like. 854 is a fun time listen, out on Jealous Butcher.
