Description

viscous wine with amazing power

The 1962 and 1959 Petrus were two of the finest bottles I have ever tasted of these vintages

A brooding and reticent nose only grudgingly reveals aromas of plum

weight and mid-palate concentration that coats the palate with dry extract and enrobes the firm tannic spine to the point where it is more of a background element than usual

vanilla and black truffle with a stylish ‘garrigue’ touch
