Julius Vom Hofe -- Leonard Mills Model 44 Raised Pillar Fly Reel 6'8" External condition is good

External condition is good

and has never seen a line put on it

Pronounced offset foot that is entirely full length and unmolested

Best with a DT5 line in my opinion

The reel is in mint unused condition and comes with its original Hardy reel case

Julius Vom Hofe -- Leonard Mills Model 44 Raised Pillar Fly Reel 6'8" External condition is goodFor sale here is an early Julius Vom Hofe Leonard Mills Model 44 raised pillar fly reel in excellent original condition. 2 5 8" diameter measured pillar to pillar. No cracks in the hard rubber side plates. Nickel silver foot and handle arm. Excellent click, maybe the nicest drag tension I've ever experienced with these reels. The perforated reel foot has been filed. The on off click switch works as intended. Stamped "Leonard Mills" on headplate.
