WWII German Tier-Luftschutzkasten Women's Clothing This example retains its wartimeOriginal WWII era German Tier Luftschutzkasten 39 (Animal Air Raid Protection Kit Model 1939) wooden medical cabinet. These specialized civil defense kits were intended for the treatment of livestock and working animals injured during air raids, making them a far less common variant of standard Luftschutz first aid equipment. The exterior retains its original field gray painted finish with stenciled black lettering reading Tier Luftschutzkasten 39.
