Discordance flows into monotone so well you'd think that each instrument was manipulated by one arm of a multiple-armed demi-god

MATCHESS - The Rafter LP shoegaze The sound quality is pristineThe Rafter is the third LP from Chicago artist MATCHESS. Highly recommended by Strangeworld. Minimal synthstress, violist and singer Whitney Johnson (of Verma) solo project bewitches listeners with sparse rhythms, synthetic melodies, squealing guitar lines and heavily affected vocals.
