Peerless #3 Fly Reel EF Payne Rod Company No spool wobble or other

No spool wobble or other issues requiring repair

Just about the only negative about this rod (and I'm probably being a little over-scrupulous here) is that there are some very small digs in the cork from where the snake guides have pressed into it while the rod was in the tube

For sale here is a nice example of a Julius Vom Hofe Size 3 1/2 fly reel in excellent original condition

This has all of the original illustrations and is a useful reference for the classic salmon tyer

Peerless #3 Fly Reel EF Payne Rod Company No spool wobble or otherA very nice Peerless #3 fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. The reel weighs 5. 5 ounces on my scale. Excellent lightly used condition with just a few very tiny trace marks on the frame edges, as well as some mounting marks on the foot. The reel has been very well cared for. 1" spool width. A nice classic S handle style reel. Non adjustable fixed drag. The sideplate is ventilated on the cranking side. The frame, foot, and spool are silver.
