All Her Plans is a breakthrough moment for Cable Ties
it's great to have Mudhoney return - live and on a shiny new vinyl platter
The powerful rhythm section (Angie Boylan on drums
dual-mono machine dreams flashing sudden stereophobic and back again / two screens alone together squeezing shaking oozing metallic pool like brain blood
The title track has a melodic post punk feel while the flip offers two hardcore burners that leave you wanting more
TAMAR APHEK - All Bets Are Off LP outsider All Her Plans is aHighly recommended. A cohesive vision of 21st century noise rock with some real tribal groove as a backbone. Tamar Aphek's world weary vocals are sublime. She's both thudding and strangely light on her feet. "She drapes her smokey tones over twangy guitar which always sounds like it's looking for a new avenue to explore. My betting is you'll be getting little elements of Polly Jean, The Gun Club, even a little Khruangbin, in that smokey blues."
