People over 50 years of age may show neurological changes due to vitamin B12 deficiency, resulting in an increased incidence of nervous and mental disorders among the elderly

Safety and administration The evidence in human trials shows AOD 9604 as safe for human consumption

It is important to stress that insufficient levels of B12 raise susceptibility to infections and diseases, and are very harmful to the nervous system which in turn can cause neurological disorders and severe and sometimes irreversible nerve damage

High doses might also possibly interfere with levels of other vitamins, enzymes and minerals, which is always a potential problem when taking any nutrient in very large quantities
