Contamination presents as cloudiness or haziness when the vial is held against white background under bright light, faint particulate matter floating in solution, or sour/musty odour distinct from the benzyl alcohol preservative scent

For AOD-9604 specifically, the disulfide bond is also susceptible to oxidation at warmer temperatures if any oxygen is present
