For lovers of smoky drops, Smokehead uses single malt whiskeys from the Scottish island of Islay, which have matured and post matured in various casks. Smokehead matured in oak casks for an unspecified time. Bottled at 43 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered. Nose: Sweet and grainy with cold peat smoke, some ash and herbs, citrus, maritime. Taste: Peppery spice and
