古渡更紗は、18世紀ごろコロマンデル地方（現在のアンドラプラデシュ州やタミルナド州）からジャワなどを経由して日本に渡ってきた布。その中でも、胡麻手といわれた細やかな手描きの文様を、アジュラック染のスフィヤン・カトリー（Sufiyan Ismail Khatri)と共に、真鍮の版で復刻したシリーズです。

グジャラート州のカッチ東部で、古代より栽培されてきたとされる在来種コットンのカラコットンを使用したシンプルなガウンジャケット。
