You want to use this when your opponent plays something big, expensive, and essential to their strategy, or at the very least save it until you're in a desperate position and need something to slow your opponent down
While the Lorcana team mentioned that this card was intended to somewhat offset the weakness Sapphire has in challenging characters, I dont really see it being enough
