There are a bunch of unanswered questions around maximizing companion, but Lurrus eliminates half the puzzle by naturally slotting in a bunch of homes without any real deckbuilding restrictions

The best part of Larrus is that you can spend 5 mana to generate 2 cards in one turn this guy is a bit blander at 5 mana to generate 1 card in a turn

The thing that pushes this to a level above cards like Impulse for me is that you can put things back into your deck and that is something not many cards in magic allow for, certainly not in such a cheap and painless way as this (except of course Brainstorm...)

You can pick two of them based on nothing more than vibes and personal preference, and the game will automatically create a deck using those two archetypes

But the one card that not very many people are talking about is Empty the Pits
