It's a tad confusing for some people, how scry/reveal/look won't trigger these effects, but it's made up for by inviting odd synergies and old classics
Seeing them in the main set, in a mythic slot no less, is slightly baffling
What sets Darkstar Augur apart is the fact that it flies, and for four mana total, creates two of that same card draw effect thanks to offspring, pressuring players to find two removal spells or a sweeper rather than the usual one-for-one trade a Dark Confidant might elicit
If you can combine it with Ephemerate, as the four-colour decks often do, you can set up some devastating turns where you just wipe the opponents board
If you want something a bit more catch-all for any deck, however, try Duplicant and Meteor Golem
