Fire and Firaga look considerably weaker, but still very nice bonuses to have on an already good card like Fire Magic

Needless to say, once you transform it into Hades, Sorcerer of Eld, a permanent Yawgmoth's Will is extremely good
Given the randomness of the boosters in each pre-release as well as the the structure of the tournament, Pre-Releases are pretty casual events which make them great for FF fans coming to Magic for the collaboration
There are plenty of ways to bounce things back to your opponents hand from play in both Emerald and Amethyst, so this card can pile up the lore pretty quickly
