Sold as found unframed but I think in a dark would frame this would really sing

C. 1900 Cast Iron HANDY Paperweight carved owl (The balletic gestures of theirI'd never seen one of these before, c. 1900, cast of iron I believe, and satisfyingly heavy handy, indeed, for holding down a big pile of papers. I love it for the font and of course for the word handy a good thing to have on hand, and in hand and perfect amid a collection of hands! 3 3 4" x 1 3 8" x 5 8" and in good antique condition. Looks like it may have once had a sort of brass finish, which shows here and there.
