RL Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5 New Arrival Dark red agate is crackedAn excellent RL Winston fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, built during the San Francisco era. Serial #7545, which I believe should put the manufacture date in the mid 1950's. This was one of their light trout models and is listed at 3 1 4 ounces (though my scale has it at 3 ounces). The patent number and owner's name are inked on the rod. This feels like a nice medium fast action 5 weight to me. Very lightly used condition with no ascertainable soiling
