and perhaps the two larger (upper left first photo) WWI era

with a bit of scratching at lower right and minor wear to upper corners

which has softened in color beautifully over the years

I'd think--on an old school slate would make a great gift for an emerging seamstress

I'll never get over the delight and resonance of seeing such words repeated over and over again in perfect cursive. 8 3 8" x 6 7
