which I believe is Peruvian—it feels bright and festive thrown over the back of a sofa or taken on a picnic

I found it at the estate sale of an artist and gallerist on Newbury Street in Boston

and just one reference to it

and how assorted stemless blooms just float and perch in addition to those connected to stems

Rare, Unusual Old Tin Litho Penny Toy Inclined Car (Funicular?) black ink drawing and I'd think well moreI've done a fair amount of searching but can't find another old tin litho penny toy like this cool inclined one, which perhaps connected to a few others and a very steep ramp. I love it as its sits on a flat surface now, making everything around it feel askew. And hard to be the terrific color scheme, and very gangster looking driver at the helm! I can't find a mark on it and as I can't find another am not sure of the maker. Pre WWII I would guess.
