I purchased this beautifully executed charcoal drawing directly from a seller in France along with one other

There are four corner pieces screwed to the back of the frame with a June 1885 patent

I imagine this sweet woodblock was carved by a member of a boy scout troop in the 1940s or so

with inlaid blue enamel accentuating the details of the koi fish

Pretty wreath of greens encircling the book, and lovely silk ribbon for the bookmark too. All in remarkably good condition. Embroidery itself: 3 5 8" x 2". Overall: 13 1 2" x 2 3 8". Very very good condition.
