M 8 1 serial number inked on the butt along with "1969", the manufacture date. Excellent plus original condition, with a bit of mild hand soiling to the grip but there are no ferrule wrap cracks and very little brassing to the inner guides. There is one tiny chip in the varnish below the second guide from the tip top on one tip, though
