as the interestingly carved handle

are just fantastic--great for kids

so the second set with red eye balls was painted to do the trick

The carved beak on this one looks very ready to do some pecking

I also find it interesting how certain brand names come to represent a whole typology: it would be long before "Scotch" stood for all cellophane tape, and it would lose that descriptor altogether. 16" l x 4 3
