The hemming to the right and left edges was not done entirely squarely
I will never tire of these and believe one can never have too many
There is a small wrinkle to the bottom left corner and a small tear next to the staple binding on the first inside page only
Early 19th Century Bone Dice-type Teetotum old paper Clearly the brown wool jacketI've seen a few of these bone teetotem described as Napoleonic Prisoner of War; I am not sure if that is the case here, but earlyish 19th century I believe, and European. I love antique bone dice, but how much lovelier, and more fun, to spin a die rather than throw one! Used for playing games, mostly of the gambling variety, especially put and take.
