I really like how our Marika handled the houses and trees in silhouette on the horizon line

were often made as love tokens to be gifted upon return

making a fantastic big lot poised for erecting all sorts of structures

perhaps right next to the binoculars

Lovely Old Wooden Painter's Palette with Soft Colors carol press boston watercolor on woveI don't jump on many palettes these days, as I am quite fussy about the ones I like so many out there that look as if painted up to look as if they were actually used. But this is a nice old real one, probably tucked inside a painter's box to be used en plein air, with the colors on it just right for capturing a landscapes. Some paint and what I take for oil stain on the reverse side too. Lovely. 10" x 7", very nice presumed antique condition, late
