It reminds me of the Chrysler building too! which is apt, as the whimsy is dated Sept 13 on one side and 1927 on another, just a couple of years before the completion of that Art Deco landmark (construction began in 1928.) So a deco skyscraper of a painted rattle whimsy. Photos really do no justice to this
