CHINOOK HAYFIELD Size:24 X 30 in. almost abstract sensibility

almost abstract sensibility

and animals

and unparalleled depth in oils

Then I shifted slightly

Throughout my life I have heard this expressed in so many different ways from friends

CHINOOK HAYFIELD Size:24 X 30 in. almost abstract sensibilityNeil Patterson paints in an impressionistic style using brush strokes thick with oil paint, much like spreading peanut butter on a slice of bread. Every stroke of his brush leaves textured marks on the canvas that catch the light and change the way you see the painting under different conditions. Neil paints on canvas and linen stretched or mounted on board either framed or gallery wrapped. Each painting is sprayed with UV archival spray.
