Serial #5418 made in the early 2000's. From the early 1990s catalogs which provided descriptions of each rod, "A longer 8'6 rod for #5 line that's perfect for light line trouting on bigger waters. Medium side of medium fast dry fly action and extra length that allows better control of drag. Smooth casting with minimum effort." The rod is in near mint original
